HEAR ME CRY
Innocently I was born,
And you sang me a lovely song,
I gave you my beautiful smile,
Though my heart seemed fragile.
Later you changed your tone,
And you started treating me wrong.
At times you hit me with a cue,
Until somebody came to my rescue.
The Children’s Home heard me cry,
But now they teach me how to fly.
So I can take every opportunity,
As they make me a priority.
